added some cracks/lightning. Castore really are groundbreaking
with their designs. I'm sure some will like it but for £80 no
thanks. You'd think to make sure people keep buying them, it has
some clear differences from the previous season to keep people
interested.

I left my skyline shirt in a cab many years ago :(

Gutted, don't really see many on vinted/ebay.
I also quite like the wasps big game shirt with the orange and
white quarters. That as a period for club merch was a fairly
stellar time. I still wear a black Oneils training shirt at the
gym most weeks and it's really held up. Quality was next level.
Castore seems to be a bit more "flimsy" should I say.

I like it but not paying full price for it. Let’s see what they
away kit brings.

Plenty on classicrugbyshirts.com (depending on size) but also
lots more from before and after.

Well if we can't beat them, at least we're joining them -
Castore have done the same lightning for the Leinster kit.
£80 for a copy-paste kit - perhaps the cracks represent the
supporters' patience!

Looks like Omid Djalili's lost a ton of weight.

Castore was set up to be the British Nike or Adidas, has a huge
turnover but lost £28 million in 2024, the quality when it first
came out was really good but then as they grew too quickly
became atrocious.
They are financed by investment funds and their plan for growth
includes bricks and mortar stores and more partnerships with
clubs this year.
They acquired the rights to the Umbro brand in Europe and that
has become their football brand as Castore had a poor image in
the football market due to quality issues, and most people will
not connect the two brands.
Quins as with other rugby clubs were offered a deal too good not
to take, but they are a very odd company with their golf and
tennis kit being really good and the other stuff really
variable.
Their designs seem really generic and boring, could almost be
produced by AI or a 9 year with an ipad.
