Champions Cup Fixtures Confirmed

Details of Harlequins’ Investec Champions Cup Pool C fixtures
have been confirmed following last week’s draw.
The squad will face Leinster Rugby, Aviron Bayonnais, DHL
Stormers, and La Rochelle as they aim to progress from the group
stage.
Although Leicester Tigers have also been drawn into Pool C,
Harlequins will not face the Midlands side, due to tournament
rules that prevent teams from the same domestic league
(Gallagher Prem) from meeting in the pool stage.
This year’s draw brings both familiar and less recent opponents.
Harlequins faced Leinster and the DHL Stormers in last season’s
competition, while Bayonne were last encountered in the 2011
Challenge Cup.
La Rochelle, the two-time European Champions (2021/22 and
2022/23), most recently faced Harlequins in the Champions Cup
back in 2017.
Tickets details for all four pool stage fixtures will be
released in due course.

To be honest, I'm quite happy our two home games are on a Sunday
(assuming the trains are running normally) as it means a chance
to see the game in daylight for once, and have a beer or two
after without having to rush home...

Straight after the AI's. They will think it's a gimmie so will
pick their usual URC side, instead of the national team. So we
should only lose by 30 and may well score some points!!!!

Pleased the Stormers game is at home. I think the cost of travel
for that fixture would be a fairly expensive extra the club
could do without. Although I'm unsure if the club gets
assistance with this per say

Was really hoping we’d get Bayonne away - a great place to visit
and watch rugby.
As MQ the bulls game being at home is good - a trip to SA is
hugely expensive and disruptive. (There’s also a daily good
chance Bulls will put out a weakened side.
Think we need to target 2 home wins and see if we can sneak TBP
away.

Really can’t be arsed with Dublin again
Great to go back to La Rochelle
But great to see all of the “ Talk with organisers about not
having so many Sunday games is paying off
