What all that management consultant gobbledy-gook stuff
translates to is, "Therefore, Quins will have lots of Friday
night and Sunday fixtures."

I agree. It will be Friday night and Sunday fixtures. EPCR said
last season they want to accommodate Premier Sports by ensuring
thr matches do not clash with Premier League Football.
Was there also not talk of Thursday night matches or was that
"The Prem" (hideous name)
Are Harlequins going to be shortened to "Harl"? Quins does not
count as that was not a corporate nick name.

And Sod's Law may also apply and we end up with a Sunday night
away fixture in December.

Missed out on Stormers last time , and heard it was great, so
wouldn’t mind that, also `bayonne
But let’s do a Bath and work our way into Challenge cup and have
something to cheer about…hopefully

Am in Oz for Christmas and not back till mid Jan, so will miss
whatever the away games are.
Presume we'd like the 2nd December fixture at home as BG is only
a week later

Two weeks later, no? 20th December

I think what the post intends to be saying is, "Presume we'd
like the second [European Cup] December fixture at home, as BG
is only a week later" — though why that would be the case is
beyond me. Isn't it better to have home and away alternate
weeks, from the club's perspective?

Thanks, yes I did mean the 2nd European fixture, my bad.
I presumed rather home as the potential of Cape Town and a long
journey would mean we have to throw one of them rather than flog
the first-ish 23 for BG. Depends on the draw I suppose.

I'd like Cape Town in December, give me an excuse to visit the
in-laws. Not that a bit of kite surfing in South Africa wouldn't
go about at the same time....

No.No.No. Cape Town in January - that’s when I’m always there!
Kite surfing at Bloubergstrand I presume?
