How must Maro be feeling? AF is now on record saying that OF
brings essential leadership to the group. We can all see that
the cover for ED thing doesn't hold water so, unless it's just
to get OF in the special 4 Lions club, there's a group dynamic
that apparently only Owen can fix.

Well, what does it say about the management, not just maro, and
all the other senior players , if they need Mr Test Match Animal
to gee them up

With all the off field stuff he apparently does so well, Racing

I think you're all being very unfair to poor Owen. If he wasn't
a global megastar, in the form of his life, he wouldn't have
been called upon to save the tour (now that Daly is out — be
fair, it's a like-for-like replacement ...). Watch what happens
— Finn will have a poor game in the first test, and Farrell will
then select Farrell to replace him at 10 to save the day in the
second test: a cunning plan, Baldrick.
