Probably the best I have seen him play, have never rated him as
a fullback in the past.

Love how he's rarely criticised, when he often deserves to be.
Yet one good performance against mediocre opposition, and he's
praised to the heavens.

Lions tours are all about performance on tour, to be fair, and
he's shown up very well so far.

Daly performed to a decent standard in the 6 nations and for his
swiss army knife role is a good squad member. If he wasn't able
to play so many roles, and was just specialized to one position
would he make the squad as a starter or the bench? Probably not.
But he got us that key win against France with his last minute
try and so far at least appears to be going about his business
well. I actually don't mind him at 13 and think its probably his
best overall position and clear of Slade in my view if I had to
pick either at 13 in absence of others

It's all about taking your chances and he is doing that, fair
play. Marcus needs to do the same.

From the way his arm was wrapped & with blood showing after he
went off in today's match, his tour may well be over - possibly
may be a broken arm? - got to feel for the guy as he was playing
so well.

Thought he was having a pretty mixed game tbh, although I
enjoyed his distribution in the line. Real shame if it's a bad
one, very innocuous incident, reminiscent of one of Tom Guest's
breaks.

The Gruaniad live feed was speculating it was a break too. If
so, it's gutting for him to get injured like that.
