In isolation I'm not sure how useful these figures are. Stats
can be helpful but I'd imagine there are details absent. One
contrast might be to look at Bath given not only did they win a
treble but pretty much walked the league in the regular season.
What did Bath do well (top 3):
       Tries
       Carries
       Metres gained
       Clean breaks
       Turnovers won
       Kicks from hand
       Kick metres gained
       Scrum success
       What did Bath do average
       Pens kicked
       Passes
       Defenders beaten
       Pens conceded
What did Bath do badly (bottom 3):
       Tackles made
       Tackle success
       Lineout success
       Turnovers conceded
It's an interesting picture. My conclusion as an armchair pundit
is that the tackles made and lack of success from Bath stems
from not needing to make them because they are on the attack far
more than other teams. Likewise them being turned over a lot is
due to having a lot of possession and probably being caught out
having made a lot of line breaks.
They carry a lot and make metres when they do so - big ball
       carriers
But they also kick a lot (Finn Russell) and make territory there
       too.
Their scrum is absolutely rock solid.
So to emulate them, we need big hard lumps carrying hard and a
tight five that doesn't take a backwards step at scrum time. And
       Marcus needs to kick more.

I feel the phrase lies, damn lies and statistics is most apt for
       these stats.
You have one person who is an alleged nailed on starter for the
Lions and according to the list can't tackle for toffee, and
another who can't even get on this summers England Tour but
scores more tries than Cadan! Not mention line breaks, defenders
       beaten and off loads. [emoji33]

The stats that we as fans get to see are presumably far less
detailed than the ones available to coaches, and I would imagine
they have things they look at that we would not consider
important - IIRC Eddie Jones's preferred stat was how fast a
player got up and back into the line.
As for looking at individual players, you always have to be
careful to look at the numbers in terms of game time. Cadan
didn't score as many tries as Gabs or OHC... but he played far
fewer games courtesy of his broken foot. According to their
respective offys, Gabs scored 14 tries in 17 games across all
       competitions (0.82 per game), OHC 16 in 25 (0.64) and Cadan 15
       in 16 (0.94).

Let's compare the prem, the only sensible source as they all
       play each other.
Cadan 11 tries in 923 mins, 84 mins per try
       Gabs 13, 1099, 85 (rounding)
       OHC 13, 1590, 122
So ohc nowhere near, but also just a really limited rugby player
       who is quite fast.

Oh and yes, I know they don't necessarily play each other if
they are injured/not selected. So pendants begone.

Yeah! Nothing worse than pendants hanging around!

That's certainly true, but radwan's genuine try scoring spree
suggests that there's no lack of opportunities.
Allrugby does split by team and competition, so I'm not doing
his. But it's much better than OHC.

Sure, Radwan is a superb finisher. I also think OHC messes up
far too often. But I don't think anyone can realistically look
at his output this season and argue he's not in the
conversation, even if we think he's too flawed a player overall.
Radwan is such a weird one to me, just an incredible runner but
I rarely watch him and am left wondering why he doesn't play for
England. He's kind of like Gabs without the creativity and less
       power in defence.
