Yep. This is exactly how I feel.
There’s a huge improvement in defence and attitude and PG’s
influence is increasingly apparent.
Our next two games are away to Tigers and the Big Game against
Wasps. Neither of those sides are in any kind form and I’d like
to think we can pick up two wins. If we can, our season is well
and truly up and running.

I did enjoy the game.
I would like to believe with a bit more consistency a top 4 spot
is possible. Im not expecting just think it's possible nothing
wrong with that.
Do i think we can win the Prem because of one excellent result?
No, i think i clearly stated no team could even dream of that
until they win games consistently, that was the point i was
making.

that then I think a top 4 finish is not unreasonable. We have a
good squad that just hasn't been performing at anything like its
potential but that does seem to be changing. Onwards and
upwards, come on you Quins!

Thank You Rocker that was kind of the point of my post.

Bearing in mind it wasn’t a full strength Exeter team, letting
them back in the game like we did was very poor.
One win doesn’t mean anything unless the team back it up.
Something they haven’t been able to do for a number of years
now.

Everyone's overreacting a little too much to a reasonable point
about building on big wins...

Some of the pundits had us as relegation fodder. Most of us were
of the opinion that this season was one of rebuilding under
Gustard, making sure we were out of the relegation zone, and as
long as we put in some good performances and showed signs of
recovery, then even if we finished 10th that would be OK. I
think it was summarised as "Don't get relegated, and don't be
rubbish".
We've scalped Sarries a couple of times, and now Exe, and then
lost against lower ranked teams, yes, that happens. I imagine
that getting the troops motivated for a top three team visiting
is not difficult, but the trick is grinding out the wins against
lower teams, and taking a couple of wins on the road.
One swallow does not a summer make - understand that. But loving
the warm glow of beating Exe, who have been our bogey team for
so long, and I'm thinking that we are achieving the "Don't get
relegated, and don't be rubbish" requirement. I'm OK with that
this season; mid table obscurity and signs of positivity will do
me this time around. Next season, however...!
