Why does Pat keep popping up? IIRC he now works in finance in
some aspect and has not been involved in rugby for over a
decade.

My only issue with Sanderson is his Sarries connection.
That aside, he wears his heart on his sleeve, is passionate
about the game and is a hands on coach. If he's more comfortable
in his tracksuit on the sideline then behind a glass pain in the
stands then fine by me.
He's not quite at Diamond levels, but the chip on the
shoulder/anti-establishment shtick gets a bit tiresome at times.
Otherwise he's fine. The game needs characters, including
DOR's/coaches, not shrinking violets.
