I am honestly not proud of how I feel about Sanderson. I know
the journos ask loaded questions then rewrite what was said. I'm
sure Sanderson is nice to stray dogs and little old ladies. But
he's kind of had a chip on his shoulder (in print) in the past
regarding Harlequins, and regrettably that triggers a response
where I find myself in the position of ABS (Anyone But Sale).
Which is silly, i admit. They have some great players. They're a
very successful team, certainly much more than we are and they
and their management deserve recognition for that. I want to be
that guy that at the end of a sound beating looks the Sale
captain in the eye and says "well done, good game!". But there's
something about Sanderson (and his ingrate brother!) ...

I'm with you all the way. There is something that I intensely
dislike about Ming the Merciless. I'm happy whenever his team
lose (sorry Yareett)....

I once ended up in a bar in Hong Kong having a few beers with
Pat. He came across as a really decent bloke.

He is. And I’ve said before that the idea that Pat is anti-Quins
is something I’ll never get considering how involved he is in
ex-player stuff.

He does tend to come across as less gracious when Sale lose to
Quins than when they lose to other teams, though. Also, dictator
of Mongo and all that.

He’s on record as saying he dislikes Quins because of how he
feels they treated his brother following an injury.
Sorry should clarify this is Alex I’m referring to not Pat.
