Was a great day and a great game, although after 20 mins I was
grumpy as hell. Felt sorry for the poor bloke sitting next to
me. I don't miss the double header though, full of absolute
kn*bs.....including me!

Was a wild afternoon that. Went with a large number of my wife's
team. Went to the bar during the second half, came back up the
steps just as Tom Guest was charging down. Declared that the
comeback was on with tongue firmly in cheek. When we did
actually win, one of the teammates tapped me on the shoulder to
remind me of my prediction, like I was some kind of rugby
Nostradamus. When I was actually just rather drunk.

I must have been on a season ticket break as I bought a spare
from a kindly chap on the Wasps forum called Greenwood, so I was
sat in amongst a load of Wasps fans.

I remember saying just after they scored again in the second
half “it’s only a point a minute” and then we proceeded to score
at that rate. I’ve heard that Wasps put so much into the first
half that they had nothing left in the second. Best moment for
me was seeing Mike Brown calling for the ball on the wing and
NEv producing a pinpoint cross field kick to him for a try.
