Pat Lam blames Bath ticket prices

Are we finally reaching the point of "enough is enough"?

Have to say I was tempted by the Tigers game and tckets there
are no worse than Harlequins.

I'm sure not all Brizz fans were buying through the official
allocation?

It's a Catch 22 though. Bath up their prices and now have a
squad that is competing for trophies. Noise goes away when you
have success. If Bath were in our position, they'd be moaning
louder than we do. We're peeved because we're not seeing the
increased cost lead to sustained success.
That said, I always believe there should be a cap on ticket
prices for away fans else they won't travel and the atmosphere
would be dead. We already pay lots to travel and sustain
ourselves on arrival, so throw us a frickin' bone here.

We've all got a point where we're priced out of attending. Mine
was over a decade ago.
But if the club is selling all the tickets, then you can't
really complain (or not with much justification), just have to
suck it up, or watch on telly instead.
It's not like rugby is rolling in money and doesn't need to
scrape together every last £$E it can get hold of

We need to increase the ground capacity, which could be done to
around 25000, which would at least keep prices from going up as
quickly as they have been, but because of Richmond council is
never going to happen.

If we can't expand then we should move....

Leaving behind 62 years of history is a big move, also where
would we go, to expand the ground would cost upwards of £50
million, what would a new ground cost.
I would not want to leave the stoop.

If they increase the capacity I would expect prices to rise to
whatever level keeps the stadium full, because they will need to
pay back the development costs

Real tough on Bristol, not being able to afford a second half
ticket for the team

True the costs would need to be repaid, also the 10 team league
with two games across the road mean we only play seven games at
the Stoop.
