I'm not quite sure what the gameplan is supposed to be today.
Our two tries (and Northmore's incorrectly ruled out score) have
all come from off the cuff unstructured play.
We're still kicking the ball away too much in the middle third
for my liking, but the issue is we don't look like making metres
when we do try to go through the phases. The lack of gainline
power in the side is continuing to hurt us.
Defence has been a mess. You just can't concede two tries that
close to the ruck when we've got so many men on their feet. And
nobody winning any individual battles. I can't recall a single
dominant tackle from a Quins player in that half.

Titi is a waste of a large space. He’s not even - as far as I
can see - anchoring the scrum well or giving it any go forward
grunt. Under the shirt, he’s not built like some of the
sizeable South Sea props we see playing for the French sides. We
need a big upgrade in the front row so we have a top starting
side and then a bomb squad.

Titi makes Joe Launchbury look like a colossus in the loose. I
remember comments about his fitness when he started for us yet
nothings improved, and considering I’m sure we have a
conditioning coach….
