I’d prefer our coach to be fired. He’s not up to it
Quins needs to employ a proven proper coach at some point. Hey
we’ve got the highest ticket prices in the league now, so employ
a top level coach

Can’t help but feel the next appointment will be defining, as
our title win was really right place right time rather than a
successfully executed plan. Kingston, Gustard Matson and Wilson
were all poor picks and the judgement of the board has to be
questioned. Tigers did well getting Chekia allbeit just for the
1 season, but it shows what the benefit of an experienced head
coach can give

Also noticeable how Baxter taking back over as coach at Exeter
has transformed their performances in just a few games.

IIRC from the time he was wanting a reportedly huge pay rise as
he was being 'looked at' for England level, his broken field
attack was great, his defence was questionable to be kind; as a
result he was released at end of/from contract. Further down the
thread there are questions why we have let Jibulu go; did he
have similar attitude problems and asked for an outrageous
salary? It was quite a while ago that he was reported to be off
and stopped playing in Prem, he has only been seen in the last
two/three games since news of his departure became public. Did
he ask for too much and then have an attitude problem? We don't
know all the details I am sure.

I'm pretty sure he was injured for a while after the
announcement. His attitude on the pitch has certainly looked
spot on. Still very annoyed he's leaving.

Personally I am happy that we seek to improve our coaching
experience, which this will no doubt achieve. If some new ideas
come from exposure to a different environment that this is a
very sensible approach from Quins
