From what I've seen he is more cocky than arrogant, but what's
not in doubt is that he's already taking criticism for doing
things that many, many players have been doing for years - most
notably his try celebrations, which are hardly extravagant. I
suspect over his career he will take an enormous amount of abuse
from people, and he already appears to be living rent free in a
       lot of heads.

The only problem with try celebrations is that you look a bit
silly when the try is disallowed.
       Like what his was.
I remember a few years ago that Faz injured himself celebrating
and the try was then disallowed. I did have a slight giggle.

If he wasn't English he'd get half the amount of comment.

From the journos who've looked at the footage, Pollock did
nothing except try to break up a fracas. And it was clear the
team was targeting him from the start. I don't disagree that if
he dishes it out he needs to take it, but he wasn't dishing it
out and the UBB players are probably the ones who need to wind
their necks in, particularly given they scraped home against a
       side ravaged by injuries.

Maybe the initial fracas which wasn’t clearly shown on tv but
the hand to throat push was because Pollock went to have another
       go.

I think they'll settle for the fact they won, regardless of the
       opposition.

Yes, of course. Weird that their celebrations involved mocking
       him, though.

Well quite. Enjoy your cup, doing an impression of the
celebration of one of the guys you beat looks incredibly petty.

Poiroit has been cited. I presume Miss Marple will be on the
       panel!

I'm convinced that some of the citing commissioners are more
along the lines of Inspector Clouseau.
