Couldn’t agree more. That young man could do with winding his
neck in a little if he can’t take it back.

It was his actions before the game that they took issue with.
Not saying I want to see that nonsense but if you give it out,
don’t cry when it comes back at you.

I missed it at the time as I'd turned off by then, and have only
read snippets. Is Pollard himself 'crying' about it or did he
just retaliate at the time? Am I right in thinking a prop
grabbed him by the throat after Jailbait gave him some stick
after the final whistle?
If what I've read is basically true then I'd have to say
behaving like that in victory is worse than anything I've read
from Pollock in terms of winding players up before or during
games.

Nah. Some argybargy after the whistle then a group of UBB walks
away from it. Pollack goes into have another go and gets an open
palm shove that contacts his throat for his troubles.
I’m afraid he’s acting like some playground bully that doesn’t
like it back at him. He should take it as a complement instead.

Why single him out though when plenty of other players were
involved? I'm still not sure what makes his actions worse than
anyone else's.

He went and found the trouble away from the original fracas and
got pushed away - albeit at throat height.
One post about the continued mickey-taking I saw summed it up:
It’s very petty but also quite funny.
Pollock is a gloriously arrogant young player who is probably
going to be a classic hate him in the Green and black, love him
in white.

Dawson on the bbc pod mentioned that as a saints and England fan
you’ll love him but he can see why nobody else would
