I think a movement of priorities regarding defence and general
tactics has probably influenced the perception that Nev's
       coaching is in question.

Might it not be the case that without a dominant pack up front
who can win quick, front-foot ball, the attack is always going
to look like it's struggling? As with fly halves, it's hard to
look good when you're getting rubbish ball.

Bumping this for visibility but can I hear a logical argument
for Wilson staying on as our head man? We sacrificed our
identity to rebuild our defense and we’ve shipped 100 points to
Bristol over 2 games. Evidence is very poor

I'd say the stronger argument is when we shipped a lot of points
to sides who aren't Bristol, tbh. They have scored 40+ points on
7 occasions in the league this season and have averaged almost 5
tries per match, which is insane.
It's the times when we've given up easy tries to less potent
       opposition that really grates

       Wilson in.
If he goes, what will I complain about then?

I have no idea about the skills, dynamics of the
coaching/management team etc of the club. This has been a
miserable season. If we are really spending up to the cap than
we have finished 7 out of 8. Newcastle and Exeter are not. There
is an established link between pay and performance in sport.
Saints reached a European Cup Final. We are way off, what is the
narrative, I have no issue finishing 7th if I knew where we are
going. To me, from what I see we will be worse next year......

If next season starts badly the atmosphere will be Kingston
levels of toxic. Booing, leaving early etc.
Maybe he’ll turn it round but he can’t carry on as we are now.
And having never been successful at any other club I’m not sure
why our leaders think Wilson will succeed here

I’d feel a lot more optimistic if I ever heard someone from
Quins make a statement like this-

       Edit
And then wheeling out poor old Caden to try and justify the
season is a low moment. Usual script about learning and being
in transition. After a decent personal performance yesterday,
       he can’t have needed that.
