Signing announcement flirted for 10am it seems.
For it to get a post I'm hoping its someone semi exciting, who
have we been linked to?

Absolutely huge statement signing. Am sat in a Teams meeting,
glanced at my phone and squealed when I read the announcement -
there have been looks....
In terms of women's rugby, I would suggest that only signing
Ilona would be capable of topping this currently (bearing in
mind we already have Ellie K).
Cannot wait to tell me daughter when she gets out of school.

That is a big statement - a backrow of Wafer, Callender and
Konkel will be a handful and hopeful all Lions in two years.

Ilona Maher would be a bigger signing commercially, but I am not
sure that she'd add as much to the squad as Wafer does. Is she a
better outside centre than Claudia Pena, or a better wing than
Lisa Neumann, for instance?
Whereas a back row of Wythe, Callender and Wafer would arguably
be the strongest in the PWR. Wafer and Callender were two of the
non-English players that The Good, The Scaz and the Rugby saw as
automatic picks for a Women's Lions tour, and Wythe was widely
expected to get a 6N England call up until her shoulder injury.

Last season a lack of depth in the pack cost us (imo). That
seems to have been addressed. I worry a little about prop as I
still think the drop off from the likes of Delgardo, Hanlon to
the others is enough to hurt us.
With the signings we made, I did wonder (probably unlikely) if
we were moving NW back to prop (also as a way of getting our
best players on the pitch at the same time).
