to be on next season...

So we have a rubbish season, which we're told to forgive because
our Head Coach has a three-year master plan that they're
implementing. Instead of focusing on Quins, half of our coaching
team including the Head Coach is focused on Wales for the
Summer.
The Club are really taking the fans for mugs at the moment.

Why? From the press release the pre-season has already been
planned and they will not be missing any of it. The players
won't be around because they will either be on tour or on
holiday.
It's normal for clubs to want their coaches to get new
experience and perspectives in that period anyway. Usually
that's through additional training or trips to see other sports
or clubs. Getting international exposure gives them that in a
directly relevant competitive environment.
The only downside is that it's Wales, which arguably isn't a
high performance environment at the moment. That said, at least
they'll pick up some tips on what not to do...

So we need Wales to be excellent in attack but with a rubbish
scrum so they keep Danny and return AJ.

Sorry, Poorfour, do coaches not need a rest as well? More
mentally than physically, isn't it better for us that they have
time on a beach somewhere to chill and gather thoughts without
the noise around them?
Plus, if they can't learn from the vast amount of errors we've
made this season, then not sure how 6 weeks with a poor welsh
side will be much different.

This is a joke.
Time for Quinssa to be the voice of the many fans to say that we
are unhappy with this decision and after such a poor season how
is this being allowed? I don’t see any benefit to Quins

I thought it was pretty common that coaches get away from their
teams over this period. I am sure that I have seen coaches spend
time with rugby league teams, NFL teams, southern hemisphere
teams, etc.
They need to get out of their normal environment as a learning
experience so that they can improve their skills.
Otherwise, it is likely that we would just do the same next
season.
From what I read, they are back for pre season - or did I get
that wrong?
