Retiring scrum-half Danny Care has been given special
dispensation to wear the number nine shirt in his final game on
Sunday, despite being named on the bench.
Starting scrum-half Will Porter will wear the 21 shirt after
Harlequins were granted permission by the Premiership and
opponents Exeter to go against convention and league-wide
regulations.
It is believed to be the first time that 1-15 numbering has been
relaxed for a player since it was standardised across the
division more than 20 years ago.

Nice touch, but nicer still would have been to start him in what
is a completely meaningless game...

Is it meaningless? Don’t the last two games dictate which
European competition we end up in.

1st to 8th all get investec champions cup, don't think we're
ending up lower than 8th

Glad to see my idea of giving a few if the youngsters a run out
has been taken up. I can only assume the coaches are now
listening to me instead of Maidstone 😁

If ONLY the coaches listened to me. I’d have culled the squad
right down and might have won a few of the games we stuck Luke
in at 12.
Still, we can discuss it tomorrow me old mucker over a few
whiskies

It’s pretty clear from his announcement video that he’s managing
a knee injury and isn’t fully fit. He probably isn’t in the
right shape to start, even with the plan of taking him off
early.

Sadly, a family issue means I can't attend the game. Next time
though, for sure.

I’ll try and keep you updated in spoons and how it’s going. I
imagine;
“Bar staff are terrible, that young lad is shocking and MUST GO”
“No tactics at all, just open the kitchen door, carry the
