When I woke up this morning I thought that I had had a wonderful
dream so a quick look on here and I was wrong. We really did do
that last night. I will really enjoy watching that one back. So
many impressive performances from many of the players. I’d like
to give Dave Ward a mention for his 100% throwing and being a
right nuisance in the loose all night. Big Alex has been
consistently excellent for us as well. When was the last time a
team got a five pointer against Chiefs. A top scalp to win for
us.

Having watched game back commentary say it’s because he asked
any reason he couldn’t award - so the evidence wasn’t enough to
overturn.
Didn’t really see why. Loooked very clearly held up to me.

If he could get them to play like that, he'd still be in place!
He said when leaving that he felt the squad was capable of great
things and I think many of us agreed with him, just he and his
team couldn't get them to do that, Gussy and his have

Not only the squad but his review of the set up split the job in
2 and allowed Gussie to be appointed as Head Coach and Billie to
take on the rest. Not sure Gussie could have been DoR with all
the contracting etc

Pleased to see that Harvey the mystery winger has rejoined, but
so far only playing in the north west corner.

There's something odd about that part of the pitch. That's
where the sniper who used take out miscellaneous Northampton
players (and on one occasion Clifford) used to be based.
Maybe it wasn't a sniper after all, but Caspar the friendly but
incompetent sixteenth man.
