Like nutting the opposition scrum half in the second minute of
the match.

If you are going to be pedantic, then at least get it right :-)
It is Irné

It's a shame if Dino is off. He's really improved over the last
3 seasons or so and is now coming into what should be his prime
years.
If we've failed to agree deals with Dino and Irne whilst
extending Lewies and Launchbury's contracts, then that's pretty
poor business on the face of it.
Petti, Treadwell and Dino was looking like a promising roster of
second rows for next season. Just when I thought we might be
building some strength in depth.

As much as I like Dino, he seems to spend most of his time
injured (not a dig at him) so I'm happy to let him move on. I
expect he would want an improvement in his next deal and then
value for money would come into it. If we could shift
Launchbury also and bring in another lock in the mould if Herbst
(unknown gem imo), I'd say Treadwell, Hammond, Petti, Lewies and
a new lock is a decent set of options. Throw in CCS and Browne
coming through also, we look ok.

Not seen it myself, but Herbst's move is off due to an injury or
something??
Can't see that being true.

First contract signed 2023.
It was reported that he will be out of contact at the end of the
season.
He wasn't named on the list of renewing players

Just listening to 2W4Qs and they're saying that Irne failed his
Brive medical with an ankle injury that needs an op, hence why
they're looking at Dino and he was seen there apparently.
I know he needs an Op but I'd consider giving him a years
extension and then get him under the knife as soon as, hoping
he'll be back playing by Christmas. I know Petti & Tredders may
start the season but with Launch/Lewies' injury records we'd
benefit from some experience to support Hammond.

If Irne is missing out on a pay day for that, I’m gutted for
him. Lovely bloke and one of my favourite to watch. However
if fate means he stays for a bit, I’ll take it gladly.

Not great if Dino is off as I think he's our best lock, when
fit. Guess he's not great value for money though. He's been
injured a lot, will be off with Italy when fit and no longer
eqp. I can see how the move would make sense all round but I do
think we'd miss him
