I wonder how TNT feel about weekends like this with only 2
       competitive fixtures.

Tigers Sale was great. The Bristol Bath game was competitive.
       Ours was excellent to watch.
       Two more to go!

Yes, Tigers v Sale and our game were the two competitive ones.
Bath and Saints have both put out 2nd teams, for obvious
reasons, and the Bath game was only interesting because Bristol
had 4 yellow cards and played crap; they still won comfortably.
The Exeter v Saints game might be interesting because of the
coaching issues in Devon but it should be a walkover for Exeter.
Newcastle put out a second team because that's all they've got.

       Newcastle weren't televised I thought?
Bristol v Bath was competitive. Bristol were only out of sight
close to full time, Bath were threatening them constantly and
those yellows didn't come from nowhere. Think you're letting the
knowledge it was a 2nd XV affect your judgement of how close
       that game was.

I did watch the Bristol v Bath game 😁.
All Premiership matches are televised but you have to use the
red button or Discovery+ to get some of them.

Ah. I don't think those ones really "count" when it comes to
whether TNT care about them being competitive, tbh. Viewership
       must be tiny regardless.
I'll think they'll be happy so far - a huge crowd in Cardiff
with a lot of excitement, the BSKO with a Quins side playing
some of their most entertaining rugby for ages, and that top 4
clash on Friday that was such a good game.
Had they headlined the Saracens game then yeah, problems

Interesting to see that Newcastle seem to permanently be on
Discovery. 6 years is a mahoosive contract and I wonder if they
used some of the money saved on not getting the rights to
Investec EPC Cup to make a longer deal?
Personally, I think I speak for many, that Premier Sports can do
one and I hope that all Rugby coverage homogenises onto as few
channels as possible at a reasonable price.
Is it possible that with the relatively small amount that
O'Rourke paid for the Investec rights that when the renewal
comes round one of the terrestrial channels will go balls out to
get the rights? Oh, happy days!
Mind you, the caveat there is that with too much Rugby coverage
I simply cant watch Full Match Replays all the time and I
dislike 5 or 10 minute highlight packages intensely.

       Two things:
       1. I think I would have preferred it all to go to Premier Sports
       rather than TNT.
Prem Sports now have a rugby channel and adding the Premiership
to their offering would make it a great option for rugby lovers.
       2. Full match replays - I used to like the RugbyPass site when
it used to have Premiership games. They used to do a cut down
version of games where you only saw the ball-in-play periods.
So, they condensed games down to around 30 minutes - but, you
       didn't miss anything.
It is a shame that the other sites don't do it.
