Either way, it's Australia. Not sure their results in the AIs
are reflective of their true quality.

Lowe makes the squad on merit. He's powerful and has a cannon of
       a boot. They're differentiators.
Agree Hansen is fortunate. He's not looked great since his
return from injury. I'd of taken Darcy Graham.
The options at hooker aren't great in my opinion. Kelleher is
firmly third choice in this Lions squad but he better than any
of the Scottish or Welsh lads. I might of been tempted to take
George. Not as a test starter, but a good tourist and to captain
the midweek side. But given the options available, I don't think
       taking Kelleher is outrageous.

It's been interesting to view social media and listen to pods
over the last few days and see what happens outside of our own
world. Lot's of Marcus dissenters but they never talk about
where he could play a part, other than covering 2 positions.
For me, he can be a 10 starter and will work better with
Tuipulotu & Jones (who are both still injured) or Aki and
whomever than he gets with England's game plan.
A few still injured players, Hansen will not have played for 11
weeks when the tour starts and Tuipulotu and Jones might be back
before the end of the season but will they risk themselves in
Glasgow's run in? A few Ireland players as well hobbling,
       apparently.
Also, with the mention of 2 further slots available for form
players, lots of Faz Jnr for the Lions chat.
Scotland in the South Pacific and Wales in Japan, does that mean
they go full strength, minus their Lions, in case of call ups?
       Darcey Graham and Dewi Lake....
Fascinating stuff. Quite a bit of Gatland bashing as well, which
       I love.
Very sad to here about McGeechan though.

What annoyed me about the commentary yesterday around Marcus'
selection is that they ignored the fact that after the AIs he
was nailed on for the tour and a strong candidate for starter.
He then got messed around by club and country and came back to a
       struggling club team.
Faz going would be criminal. Ford would be fine.
I don't care if Daly can cover 3 positions badly or kick a long
way really inaccurately. He shouldn't be anywhere near. One
well-taken try from a training ground move in a 10 minute cameo
       doesn't change that

That try in the 6n was so overhyped. All it really showed is
that he's still a serviceable centre (ye I know he came in off
       his wing).
Daly is as much a joke pick as hansen.

What you mean the try where the worlds greatest fly half took
the ball to line and passed it a humungous 5 metres to an
onrushing vision of Tana Umuga to step and score from about 8
metres??? You're being a bit harsh Rodney 😂

I thought Daly played well in the 6N personally. But what none
of the pundits seem to have commented on is that the reason Daly
was able to score it was that the French defence obligingly
moved out of the way because they were tracking Marcus.
