I did think the atmosphere was a bit off yesterday, clearly lots
of people having fun but big Stoop not full doesn’t have the
       same buzz.

I know that the big stoop was only half full, but the club must
make a ton of cash from these games.
Basically, they sell 30k full priced tickets.
The bars were busy until the stadium closed.
There were a lot of food places which all looked to be doing
       good business.
Saw a good few people in the new shirts + hats.
I know that a lot of people prefer to just go and watch the
rugby and aren't interested in the non rugby stuff.
But, others do like it (including me). Yes, I hate Mexican
waves. But, lots of people love it. So, why not just enjoy it
Personally, I think the club has the balance right with having 2
games over there a season. I have always liked the big game. It
is a good event for bringing 'part time' rugby fans into the
       game.
I also think that it is extremely difficult to sell out a
stadium that size twice a season.
One approach would be to make tickets cheap. But, that makes
season ticket holders question the money that they are spending.
Also, when tickets are extremely cheap you get people who have
just give along for a beer. There were probably some there
yesterday who were just on a jolly. But, I didn't see any where
       I was sitting.

I certainly hope the result will help for the future. We've not
really turned up for many summer games at Twickenham, unlike at
       the big game.

There seemed to be plenty of people not interested in the rugby
yesterday. Had to constantly get them to move out of the way
while they aimlessly gazed around holding their overpriced beer.
Even the high-vis brigade got in the way and had to get them to
step back into the tunnels. Hardly anybody did their moving
during breaks in play. Something else I don’t understand is when
Quins had an attacking line out or scrum on the five metre line,
loads of “supporters “ piled out during the build up to get more
drinks!!!! Why would you do that? (at least it was a break in
       play I suppose).
Anyway, rant over. Rugby was fantastic, Impressive win
that I didn’t expect, lovely weather and hopefully a few extra
       quid for the club.

It's tricky. I suspect we could sell out 25,000 each and every
home game if the Stoop could be expanded.
Until that time comes, two games over the road is required to
       fill the coffers.

I don’t understand why my post is cowardly. Please explain. I’m
not hiding anywhere and I asked all the people who were blocking
the view of not only myself but my fellow supporters to move
themselves. Maybe I was unlucky with my seat positioning as it’s
not been like that at BGs.

Always the same at the big event, up and down for a beer
We had a small group near us watch Feeder then never came back
Each to their own I suppose
