For anyone else that may have been wondering, for this response
from Quins Support:
"we will have an outdoor bar and the North Village area open for
supporters from midday tomorrow."

Oh wow, enjoy that Yareet, assuming it's Yareet Jnr's first
time?
I played there with Essex school boys but my Dad wasn't
interested in sport so didn't come along and that always made me
sad so enjoy it.

Annoyingly (because he really doesn't appreciate this fact
🙄) no. His school did a warm up game for last year's
Prem final

And where, pray tell, is the fun in that?
That is like suggesting that people shouldn't slag off the club
not celebrating Smith's Lions call up before they checked common
social media channels

I'm a bit surprised it hasn't sold better really. Last year was
a good event and while quins obviously haven't had the best
season I feel like most people who are engaged enough to
actually know and care about that will buy tickets anyway. And
then I wouldn't have though that the crowd who come because it's
a good day out and a piss up would be particularly bothered
which team are likely to win or lose.
Looks like it has sold less than sarries did for their big game
equivalent which is never a good look. Did the club get the
marketing wrong as theres no real excuse this year.

It seems that selling the second Big Stoop fixture is harder
than selling the first. The Big Game is well established as part
of the Christmas routine for many people; BSKO isn’t as strongly
tied to a particular time.
Of course, even if the crowd tops out at 40k, Quins will have
sold over 120k tickets across the two fixtures, compared to 55k
for Sarries.

A genuine question: Is this not a simple question of Quins
languishing in last place in the league (aside from the, sadly,
woeful Newcastle and Exeter — though they will probably beat us
next week), having conceded umpteen hundreds of points in losing
all our most recent matches? Surely that must have cost 10,000
tickets. If it weren't for the "free" (season ticket holder)
tickets and the fact that many will have purchased tickets
before they realised how bad the recent results would be, I
would expect the crowd to have been even smaller. Perhaps
management now realise that brand promotion and marketing can't
be detached from the team's performance. Perhaps action will be
taken. Exeter at home will be very interesting.
