And just to cut across all the posts relating to it - including
my own...
Club just announced 40k sold.
2022 - closest figs from a Prem Rugby article saying "just shy
of 50k"
2023 - 44148 from press report of game
2024 - "over 50k" from an HQ website article
So I guess it's not "growing" unless they can shift more than
10k in the next 10 days.
But if it hits 45k it's about where it's been since launch.

An interesting comparison with us heralding selling 40,000.
For the Saints fixture last season, we reached that landmark
around the 14th March for a fixture that was for the end of
April, so with just under 7 weeks out from the fixture. We've
now hit that 2 weeks out from matchday, a fairly huge drop off.

The marketing department can get all the accolades in the world
for their work, but if the team is going to leak in 190+ points
over 4 matches, they will struggle to convert their efforts into
ticket sales.

Ditto though.
Just because you win every game, it doesn't equate that you
automatically sell tickets.
(see Saracens)
The truth is that nobody on here knows whether 40k is good or
bad news.
Unless you know what the target is, this is just a number.
It may be that they are targeting fewer sales without offering a
discount.
There is no point in giving away tickets for free just to get
the numbers up (unless of course someone can make a business
case for it).
Also, if they massively discount tickets for the last week to
get more sales, then all that happens is that people that bought
full price tickets get cross and next year, people wait until
the last minute to buy their tickets 'cos they want them cheap,
etc.

We've got a group of 15 coming. If be more than a little annoyed
if the tickets were suddenly discounted 🤨
I'm slightly worried about what we'll see on the pitch as it is
🙈

Well, for one thing you'll see Yareet Jnr and the rest of the
Ams' u10s along with their inspirational coach 👀
That's got to be worth the cost of a ticket

Not gonna lie, I'm still quibbling over getting a ticket. That
may be childish as I'd come to the Stoop for it on my ticket,
but just feels a bit more of a faff
