Fin Baxter in action for Harlequins
Harlequins have made two changes to their starting XV to face
Leicester Tigers at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on Saturday
(15:05 KO).
The Quarters travel to the Midlands with hopes of gaining form
and momentum as they embark on the final four fixture of the
Gallagher Premiership regular season.
In the forward pack, Quins have made one change as George
Hammond comes in for Will Evans. Hammond’s inclusion in the
second row sees Chandler Cunningham-South revert to blindside
flanker for Saturday’s contest.
At scrum-half, Lewis Gjaltema will start against the Tigers as
both Will Porter (Face) and Danny Care (Knee) miss out on trip
to the Midlands.
After a late call-up to the starting XV against Sale Sharks,
Cameron Anderson retains his place on the right wing after
impressing at The Stoop.
The Quarters’ impact options are boosted by the return of
tighthead Dillon Lewis, who returns from a bicep injury as part
of a 6-2 split on the bench.
Jake Murray is also in-line to make his Gallagher Premiership
debut, if introduced on Saturday.

One of the weakest teams we've put out for a while, and
considering how well our "strongest" teams have played recently,
I think we can expect 200 points conceded in 4.

I would say that it is stronger than the team we put out against
Sarries.

Injuries are biting.
Anderson doesn't offer much in my opinion. It'd be interesting
to see Benson at 12 and shift Northmore to the thing. Without a
hard carrying centre, a Smith/Benson combo would give two
genuine playmakers and might spark our attack.

Saw Teams Up and by the time I reached the bottom of the post, I
really wished it wasn’t.

The one thing that Anderson does offer is that he is decent
under a high ball.
Maybe they could use him in place of Isgro for chasing box
kicks.

We can only put out the team that's available. Maybe that's the
implied message in the squad announcement, listing all the
injuries. That said, it's hard to be anything other than very
worried about the scoreline yet again. Not simply because it's
unavoidably a weaker team than we would have liked to put out,
but because the squad seems so dejected as well (which most of
us are putting down to being dissatisfied with Wilson). Not a
good combination.

I would prefer it if they gave Waggers as much chance of gaining
experience as possible.
