You could have a point but he doesn’t have anything to do with
the on field activities except appointments of DOR/HC so not
sure he’d have a direct impact unless the culture across Quins
was rotten which we know it’s not.

Really? His coaching career has been desparately mediocre and
he's basically nothing but a bad pundit these days. He was awful
for the USA, too. He hasn't coached a proper team for a decade.

Really useful list.
If we are to (hopefully) make a change Blackett is the one we
should be going all out for. Can't imagine Bath letting him go
easily though...

Blackett will likely have a contract that allows him to leave
for a more senior role, subject to a notice period.
Realistically, I don't think Quins will replace Wilson. This is
year 1 (not year 2 as some have said) of a 3 year plan and until
the last couple of matches the main objective for this year -
fixing the defence - has been going well. It's also clear that
the squad is struggling with injuries; from the way he's spoken
in the last couple of post-match interviews, we were struggling
to put out a fully fit team even before the injuries picked up
at the weekend. I would not be surprised if we have some players
in the XXIII who are only 90% fit.
That said, with Millard moving on we probably will hire. It's
possible that Wilson will step into Millard's role (and I
wouldn't be surprised if he was hired with the expectation that
he'd do that), so we may hire into the head coach role. Blackett
would be an excellent fit for that, assuming he can be enticed
away.

approach from Saints, which is encouraging:

Playing the long game, Marcus off to France if he keeps being
messed around, Jarrod back to Wales - or back up to Jamie? Just
thoughts at the moment but getting seriously worried how long
Marcus will stay if he keeps getting shafted by Borthwick.
