       Think obvious candidates -
       Lee Blackett @Bath
Stephen Jones @Moana Pasifika (former Lion, not Times columnist)
       Clark Laidlaw @Hurricanes
       Noel McNamara @Bordeaux
All people that would be getting promotions and/or coming closer
       to home
       I like all 4 but ranked -
       Blackett
       Jones
       McNamara
       Laidlaw
All 4 are attack minded coaches who would further develop Marcus
       game.
However, time with Wasps as a headman and being the domestic
candidate helps Blackett's case for me.

Don’t know much about the others as coaches but Blackett would
       be a great choice.

Surely it would be Lancaster as currently out of work

       Welcome.
That’s an excellent list I’d wholeheartedly support.
Blackett would also be my no.1 target for the exact same
       reasons.
I don’t hate the idea of Lancaster - his record is a little up
and down but I think he could be an interesting fit.

I think I’m missing something about Lancaster. Every time he
has the top job, he seems to fail doesn’t he? Clearly a good
coach but not the man to lead. We have, quite rightly, said
that Wilson didn’t have a good record as a DoR before he arrived
so why would we want Lancaster for that kind of role?

He'd probably have more the kind of role he had at Leinster,
which was a pretty decent run tbf.

Agreed, he did well at Leinster, but frankly I'm pretty sure
that even I could do a decent job at Leinster!
Also if he was to do the Leinster type role we'd need a strong
and experienced DoR above him and I can't imagine that Lancaster
is keen on a "backwards" step.

We're talking about him as an alternative to Wilson, right? More
of a head coach role anyway.

Still would be happy with this, available, but not sure if they
       are out-out!

Good Irish connections - may be a pathway to a bit of purchasing
business. 6 nations pedigree. Took Irish from Championship
winners up to 5th before it all went a bit Pete Tong there.
Straight drop in for BM and DW defo refresh.

Well, Kidney will be available - he hasn't had a job for 2 years
       according to Wiki. [emoji1]
Kiss has another year at Queensland Reds who are doing ok.
