Having a rainbow makes you inclusive? Odd thing to post.
If you don't like the names in rainbow colours you're
       homophobic? Odd thing to post.

A timely reminder we are the most expensive team to support on
       average. Good value ey

I suspect he had in mind that Quins' management appears to be
more focused on commercial marketing successes (such as a
successful Pride day, launching a new App, promoting the women's
team and so on) than on-field performance success. Presumably,
so long as there are waiting lists for season tickets and lots
of sell-out home matches, mediocrity and lack of competitiveness
on the field are not such a problem.

       Sarries-what is going on here?

Yes, it may be expensive, but just look at how many points you
get to see scored. Some of them by Harlequins.

Yeah I agree that would be odd if that’s what Id posted.
The point of the campaign is to counter homophobia…
That’s it really. Nothing more than that - probably worded it
badly due to being a bit pissed.
But the implication from the original post was that we valued it
at that expense of being any good at rugby, which I found rather
       irritating.
I’d rather chat about when we’re sacking Wilson and sorting the
       club out.

High-fiving the blood in the bear suit after another loss.

today`s "performance", there is clearly something very much
amiss and has been for a while now. Whether it is all down to
the coaches or the club has been concentrating too much on the
commercial side I don`t know but we are reporting to be spending
up to the salary cap - perhaps nobody from other clubs wants to
play for Quins and we are delusional?
       > How can we let Jibulu go and hang onto the likes of Els?, as
much as he has been a great servant to the club DC really is
past his sell by date (did he actually pass the ball once
today?). Cunningham-South seemed to be the only player able to
make any headway through the Sale defensive line while Sale
seemed to be able to breech the Quins defence at will, felt
sorry for Marcus and Cadan who were part of a small number
       interested in playing.

I don't but into the idea that commercial activities are
impacting on-field performance. Commercial and sporting success
       aren't mutually exclusive.
On the field the club are reaping what they've sown; a poor
coaching ticket and worse recruitment/retention decisions.
Laurie isn't a fool. Wilson will see out the season, especially
with Millard going, but we'll see a clean slate for next season.

Agree. DC is an absolute legend but yesterday was abysmal. No
       tempo and shambolic box kicking.
Assuming it'll be Porter and Friday as first and second choices
       next season.

The only downside is that DC is still hanging around like the
ghost of Xmas past next season.
He’s a legend absolutely but he should have gone last season.
The other thing I wonder is what’s going on in the dressing room
       - and how disruptive DC might be.
He and Marler were the ones who led the “rebellion” against
       Gustard.
It may be the case that Wilson isn’t the answer for Quins but I
worry that the dressing room has got ideas ahead of itself.
2021 was amazing - but it’s unlikely to ever happen again.
What if no coach can come in coz there are elements in the room
who think they know better or are entitled to dictate “how Quins
       play”.
“Swing the bat” was an abject failure and seemed designed to
       appeal to the same mentality.
Dunno - all just random thoughts but something is clearly up -
and I think personally the last thing we need is a cabal of
players running the shop (especially as they aren’t players that
represent the future of the club).
