Shades of Gustard. The players clearly aren't enjoying it. The
body language is awful at times.
To quote a classic, we're really bad at the "no talent required"
aspects of the game currently, which is real telltale sign that
all's not well.

In a rough spot here aren't we? If this is a three year plan it
needs throwing out. Just as commitment loyalty belief found its
end, it's clear these are the last days of TRUE etc. we need a
cultural reset never mind a playing one. It's clear they aren't
enjoying this. We saw what a team playing to an identity looks
like today and they weren't in quarters.
Assuming we do replace Wilson (and I think todays evidence,
coupled with the rest of the recent body of work, implies that
we should) then whoever comes in has probably two years left of
being able to build around Marcus before a French clubs offers
him beaucoup d'euros. Hardly enough time for a rebuild or you
lose what are supposed to be his best years in a rebuilding
team.
Whoever they bring in to replace Wilson probably has to build
around the idea of the 10 being the marquee player whether that
is Marcus or not, reset the plan, and trust the best of what you
have and the kids. Give it a season and then go in on key
players at what transpire to be positions of need. This is what
bath have done with du toit and the Worcester boys and it works.

It wasn't an exact question! But fair enough.
I don't think we've signed that many in the last 5 years tbh

Yes, I know. My comment was really about the paucity of quality
signings if you had to go back that far. 😁
