He should have started but I'm not sure how much difference it
would make other than give him more experience; he looks like he
could be a long term first choice 12 for us.
Quins lack belief and that begets a lack of energy and
commitment. Sure they can do it in fits and starts but they've
lacked belief in what they're doing all season. Change of
coaching personnel is critical now I reckon.

I agree. Northmore at 12 is just silly. Danny looks past it
I’m afraid too. We have such a soft team as well. Herbst and
Jibulu both off so where is any real firepower coming from next
       year?

We really miss the quality of Andre the Giant and Wilco Louw.
Care was poor today, his box kicking was way below his usual
best. I thought Keningham was decent, Green had his moments.
It's thoroughly disappointing compared to seasons gone by. We
seem to be going backwards; it is very disappointing run of
       loses.

Sale put in a strong performance. As you'd expect, heavy
carrying and a masterclass from Ford kicking from hand.
Today rather summed up our season. The instinctiveness has been
coached out of our attack yet, at the same time, there is no
single aspect of the game we can hang our hat on when under
       pressure.
Our tight-five really are poor. No gainline, poor scrumnaging,
       awful lineout.
I think this game seals Wilson's fate. Another limp home
performance, and you could feel the crowd turning today.

Huh? It's not just our young players who played like they had
their hands tied behind their backs.

100%. Andre and Wilco are two players who made the hard yards.
They could make a metre or so in the tight from a near standing
start and wrestle back momentum. We just don't have enough
       strong carriers in the side.

Again the basics were lacking with too many passes going down or
being chucked at head or ankle height. Lineout was average.
Basic game intelligence lacking a few times with Gjaltema’s tap
penalty really daft and Danny’s box kicks pretty awful for the
most part. Sale came and did what we expected them to do but we
really didn’t help ourselves at any point. The team really don’t
       look like they’re enjoying themselves.
       Well played Sale.

I have no idea what you are responding to I’m afraid. My point
was simply that Waghorn’s error wasn’t the reason we lost today.
Do you think it was down to him then?

A very poor performance. Too many players over the hill,
youngsters who are struggling in a poor team and Smith looks
       lost
The whole team looked knackered, ambling about. Same as in
Leinster. I don’t get it as they are playing fewer games and had
       a rest last weekend
It has to be down to coaching. We should reset, clear out the
current coaching staff and stop signing journeymen. We literally
have nothing to lose the rest of the season, no relegation so
play your promising youngsters and try to build something

Early in the second half we managed to put in a really
challenging long kick and the chase was dreadful.
Don't blame anyone for pushing it in the last ten but before
that, really poor. The attitude largely stinks even if
individuals do put their hands up now and then.
We're carrying far too many players at the moment.
