Been on a waiting list, got an email saying to apply, won't let
me.....says I don't have the correct permissions....FFS!!

Are you using a VPN? If so, try with it switched off. Also try a
different broswer if you can. Failing that, I know it's trite,
but try phoning the Ticket Office number. They're usually good
at sorting things out.

For all I know having not been able to read the full email, it
could have said that there was a date from which your invitation
would be valid from. They would send out an invite well in
advance so you could prepare to apply. I don’t see how you can
apply for something that is not yet available and for which you
can only guess at the numbers for. That was my thinking. And ,
Mr “read more carefully “ Quince, my title is MAYOR.
