I was wondering when we'd talk about this [emoji16]... Radio 5
Live were certainly trailing this all through Sunday.
The format of "a person we've heard of who is vaguely related or
interested in the subject investigates..." is one they commonly
use. I've listened to some of the other stories in the series,
the Death of Marco Pantani and the mafia, the F1 Spygate scandal
and Russell King and the rise and fall of Notts County and they
have all been excellent - once you get over the need for a cliff
hanger ending at the end of each episode or Alice Levine
interviewing Sven Goran Erikson).
Looking at the blurb on the website, it looks like they have
spent some time with Tommy... Might just give it a miss,
personally I feel I have closure [emoji4] (and to be honest, the
title of "Episode 1 - Dandies to Dark Arts" is simply annoying
[emoji36]

Brian O’Driscoll, Shane Horgan, Ugo Monye, Nick Easter and
referee Nigel Owens, who were on the pitch on that fateful day,
but also esteemed journalists and investigators, who reveal how
they exposed the plot and covered the messy consequences.

I can't wait for the deep dive into Sarries cheating over
several seasons and the impact that had, rather than one
incident with a blood capsule. Like for like, should be at least
20 episodes of that.
Talksport did this 3 or so years ago as well but it was just BOD
with how it impacted him and rocked the very foundations of
Leinster....who won the game!

BOD these days winds me up almost as much as Jiffy. He knows his
rugby but he's very one eyed when it comes to offences by the
Irish players and supposed offences against Irish players ...
