Team for Saturday

Any guesses.
No Marcus. Not sure if Baxter and CCS can play.
Beard won't have trained with the squad for a while. Northmore
still injured?
Do we have any fit 9s?
I fear it could be yet another heavy defeat in Tottenham. Very
annoying that we always have to play them, a team we rarely beat
anyway, when we're missing our England players. I know they are
too but they tend to have greater squad depth

Why is the feted "Derby weekend" the weekend after the 6 nations
where it's likely that the largest proportion of the England
players won't be available? Just seems a bit muddled really.

Apologies if I'm wrong but are clubs and players not given some
say in the rest weeks? Much has been made of Saracens being
allowed to play X but Quins not allowed to play Y in the past
but I was under the impression that a window was given. So for
example Maro who played every minute must have a rest in one of
the next 3 rounds.
Maybe Quins decided to let Smith and CCS take a break this week?
Would Saracens try and put on this type of event knowing they
would be without Earl George Itoje Daly Willis Dan and so on?
The very players a casual fan would want to see?

This game almost always takes place straight after the 6N. In
previous years, there has been a pretty consistent pattern of
Saracens getting dispensation from the RFU to play their England
players - who have often had higher involvement - whereas Quins
have not been granted it.
There may be more to it than we can see. Maybe Quins have just
chalked the fixture off and decided to get their rest week out
of the way (they haven't said). But the disparity doesn't sit
well with the fans south of the river.

According to the Times, players who participated in every 6
Nations match must be rested.

Think Cleaves is unlikely to be fit too after pinging his
hamstring again. Murley hopefully will be back and has appeared
in social media pics in the gym which is not too revealing but a
positive sign if anything.
If both out imagine David on the wing with Halfpenny 23.

Bafflingly illogical. Some of the issues with domestic rugby are
hard to resolve but gaffs like this are so avoidable.

It’s not a ‘dispensation’ or special treatment. Players need to
be rested in a three week window. Sarries choose to delay that
for some of their key players. We don’t. It’s a choice.
