They've choked a lot of their 6N going back 15 years or so. It's
almost like a GS doesn't mean much to them. Plus they've often
been followed by them smashing it in the JWC.

Dreadful performance. Particularly awful by the backs,
especially Hall and Bracken. It's actually a shame that the
referee (seemingly at this game courtesy of the Make A Wish
foundation) had an absolute nightmare last ten minutes that
destroyed England's chances of a comeback, because it takes away
from the real awfulness of England's play

No urgency at all. Seemingly oblivious to time running out.
Simple balls knocked on. No invention. Bracken's foul leading to
his yellow was just ridiculous

England were poor tonight, so was ref but Wales defended as it
their life depended on it. England had a mare with their
handling and didn’t seem to have another tactic other than to
take continuous contact that even when it gained ground they
messed up . White line fever in first half cost a possible
comfortable lead at half time. Never mind, they’ll probably win
the World Championship later on this year.

Game of the halves. Wales the better team and deserved winners
but worst performance of the night was to the match officials

Quite enjoyed the ref stopping play when England had a lineout
5m from the line so a Welsh player could receive treatment,
while not stopping the clock.
Also when he forgot he was playing advantage a couple of times.
Also when he reversed a penalty because Kpoku pushed a Wales
player off a prone England player. The England player had been
gang tackled by 4 Welshmen and none of them were moving. The
first guy even carried on roughing up the prone English player
after the melee started.
But I was thrilled by England being penalised for collapsing a
maul on halfway where an England player pulled over a Welsh
player, who started shoving him on the ground, and then the
Welsh flanker came in, shoved a back over, and then shoved him
in the face. Especially as, given the precedent he set a few
minutes earlier with the penalty reversal, he... Yellow carded
the England player for the original offence and ignored
everything else.
Genuinely horrific refereeing, some of the worst I've seen.

I am fairly sure that in the first half, when we lost the ball
in scoring the try, that the reason was that a Welsh player who
was laying on the floor knocked the ball out of the players
hand.
I didn't go back and rewatch, but it should have been a penalty
try if my eyes were correct.

In at least one case, it was because the the grounding was
initially against a Welsh leg. Nothing illegal, but it summed up
England's evening.
