Shame that ITV get all the England games as their coverage is
dreadful, but at least it stays free to air

I can take or leave the coverage as I know Moore has said before
that the ITV matches are pitched more at the newcomers so we
definitely aren’t the audience. However the platform is
terrible.
Last Sunday I had family stuff on so missed the start of the
England game. I managed to avoid any news of what was happening
and I assumed I could watch it on catch and was offered an
option to watch from the start on ITVX. Pressed go and was taken
to the live feed. Thanks very much, ITV.
On a different device, I was able to watch from the start but
without fast forward. So I had to watch all the preamble.
Compare with iPlayer. Last night, I turned on the u20s game 10
minutes in. Selected from the start, skipped to the beginning of
the game and watched the game as live but fast forwarding
stoppages.
I wish I hadn’t watched it but the tech is far superior.
