I like Freeman at 13 with Roebuck. Daly on the wing I have never
been convinced about so I don't expect him to suddenly pull up
trees. I'd have been happier leaving OS there with Daly in the
Ford spot on the bench.
I think also no established 2nd row replacements is a big
mistake.

If there was ever any doubt, we can now say he's officially lost
it. Pleased for Roebuck & B Curry but that backline and bench is
ridiculous

Delighted for him but genuinely, I don't know. Especially given
the 6:2
If anyone beyond 10 goes down injured, we end up with a random
looking backline. Daly and a 9 on the wings? Or Ford at 10, Fin
at 12, Dingwall at 13 and Freeman on the wing?

The more I think about it, and I'd like to think it's not bias,
but I'm amazed Oscar Beard hasn't made the bench. Especially
given this team is clearly a bit experimental. He can cover
basically 11-15 if needed, has the power profile that Ollie
Lawrence possesses (OL obviously 1st choice) and has been in and
around the team for a long time. Not sure what Ford brings other
than edging him towards 100 caps.

If I'm guessing, I'd say it's the 90+ caps. The Principality is
a unique environment - especially for English players - and the
starting backline is pretty green. Lawrence is a 30-capper.
Losing him leaves us with only 2 starting backs who have more
than 20 caps. How many have ever even played at the Principality
before?

I hope I am wrong, but I can't see us winning this one.
Wales are in a bad place right now, but they were pretty good
against Ireland a few weeks back.
And, they massively up their game when playing us.

It seems to say to me he doesn't trust Marcus at 10 anymore and
wants Ford's experience as the finisher there. Why he's doing
that with a 6:2 I have no idea. Feels like he is taking Wales
too lightly and I know they are a poor side but this will be a
world cup final for them. There's a good chance England could
slip up here.

It's in case Fin Smith gets injured. There's no-one else can
play fly half (in the way Borthwick wants!)
