Not against Dingwall, Slade has done nothing, and for someone
whos an apparent defensive leader we've hardly looked solid.
Marcus was never the answer at 15, and neither is Daly, but its
Borekick afterall. Small mercies its not Steward.
Hopefully Fin has a wobble and Marcus actually comes on at 10
and shows what we know he can do.

I hope Fin sparks England. He's not really done the whole "bring
other players into the game" thing that everyone claimed was his
big difference to Marcus at 10. Almost like the fly half wasn't
the problem. But he's a big part of England's future and I'd
rather have two great options than one.
Right decision to bench Marcus but we've wasted matches on this
inanity. The correct call was to start Fin with Marcus on the
bench the moment Borthwick thought Fin was the better option at
10.
Shame we don't get a better fullback than Daly - ie Carpenter
and co - but hohum.

Leaving side the 10/15 stuff, Sleightholme has had a
disappointing tournament, Lawrence has struggled, and I'd like
to see more from Tom Willis. Hopefully they can all get a
confidence boosting run out in a big win.

One thing is for sure. With almost an exclusive Saints backline,
you would expect them to have the awareness and game they
utilize in the league which got them there. If they fail to do
that, it really would highlight what guff coaching we have. I'm
convinced we could have Dupont and still make him look average

This is the same back line that’s so good that it’s third from
bottom of the Premiership. It appears that pretty much only
Quins fans rate Marcus. Everyone else on social media thinks
he’s selfish and not a team player, terrible kicker, useless
tackler, doesn’t bring other players into the game, lacks
correct decision choices…………. I can see where SJones gets his
ideas from or is it chicken and egg on that one.
