QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:
Q: When will Membership open for the 2025/26 season
We will be launching our 2025/26 Season Ticket Membership offer
in the coming days. Current Season Ticket Members can look out
for an email as well as a letter to their postal address with
details of the offer and how to renew, before we go on sale to
our Waiting List in April.
With a Waiting List of over 2,000 supporters, and consistent
sell-outs at The Stoop, we are expecting Memberships to sell out
once again. Members are advised to carefully check renewal
timelines once live.
Q: Will there be price increases on Season Ticket Memberships
next season?
The Club can confirm that price increases for the majority of
Adult Season Tickets will be in line with last season’s
inflationary rises only, to help cover cost increases across the
Club. We are pleased to announce that Junior prices will once
again be frozen for the third straight season. We remain
confident that our Season Tickets offer fantastic value for
money and provide appealing options for all.
While we appreciate no increase is ever welcome, ticket pricing
is just one area of revenue growth which is constantly being
explored and makes up just 6% of overall forecastrevenue growth
across the Club. All other revenue growth is the responsibility
of the Club to find innovative initiatives and cost saving
opportunities that do not directly rely on increasing matchday
prices (e.g. non-Quins focused fixtures including England ‘A’
and EPCR Champions Cup matches / increased partnership
agreements / non-matchday conference and events at The Stoop /
new and expanded rugby camps and residentials).
Q: If a Premier Member whose seat is being recategorized to Gold
wishes to move seats, can the Club ensure a Premier seat will be
available?
All Premier Members impacted by the seat recategorisation have
been contacted by post with details of this change. Once
Membership is launched, the Ticketing Team will be on hand to
support a seat move, should they wish, with all available
Premier seats put on priority hold for those impacted Members to
ensure they have first refusal to remain in a Premier seat if
required.
Q: Can the Club provide full details of their accounts and
whether any debt is due to the owners?
The last three years has seen a step change in delivered profit
within the Club, thanks in part to the incredible support at The
Stoop each week. The Club remains subject to external factors
that may influence this, including inflationary price rises
(particularly London Living Wage increases and increased
National Insurance contributions). However, we believe by
focusing revenue generation while minimising cost, without
sacrificing the value of the offer we provide our supporters, we
have the ability to break even in 2025/26.
It should be noted that all investment made by our owners’ own
finances each season is debt-free investment, and no debt is
owed to them by the Club.
Q: Does the Club have a target audience for Harlequins’
supporters – is there a preference for match-by-match supporters
or Season Ticket Members?
Harlequins has always been proud to be a Club for all, creating
a matchday and overall experience that appeals to all ages,
backgrounds and communities, whether you are a veteran of the
game or visiting The Stoop for the first time. Our matchdays and
pricing are tailored to the kick-off time, competition, stadium
and league (Men’s and Women’s) to provide a number of
experiences and options for our supporters.
We believe we currently have the right balance of Season Ticket
Members to match ticket purchasers and with over 90% Membership
renewal rate over the past two seasons, we are delighted to be
able to welcome long-time Members alongside new supporters to
the Club each season.
Q: Is the club spending up to the increased Men’s salary cap?
Yes, the Club is currently paying up to the increased salary cap
to ensure we have the most competitive squad possible, while
still keeping a close eye across the Club’s overall finances to
make sure we remain on track for financial sustainability. A
focus therefore over the next three years is to build from
within and grow the ability of some incredibly gifted talent
coming through the ranks.
Q: What can the Club say about the Premiership Rugby Cup format
next season?
Following a recent media report, the Club can confirm that next
season will see a restructure Premiership Rugby Cup, with Season
Ticket members and supporters benefitting from an extra
competitive cup fixture against Premiership opposition in the
2025/26 season.
Q: Is the Club looking to make improvements to the pitch in the
off-season?
The Club is very aware that the pitch this season has
deteriorated more rapidly than expected, brought about by some
extremely bad weather and heavy rain in recent months. The pitch
goes through an annual renovation and the Club are actively
looking at changes and improvements to this process to provide a
surface that enables fast and flowing rugby for our Men’s and
Women’s squads that Quins’ supporters have come to expect.
Q: Are improvements being looked at for the North car park?
The North car park is another key area of focus that we are
aware is in need of improvement. A number of options are being
explored to improve the surface. However. all options will
require substantial investment to ensure a long-term and viable
solution is found.
Q: Is the Club committed to stay with Castore as our Retail and
Technical Partner next season?
After some challenges experienced a year ago, we have heard from
supporters that significant improvements have been made and this
is reflected in our retail sales that continue to increase
year-on-year. We will continue to work with Castore to deliver
increased ranges and new stock, listening to the demands of our
supporters, while ensuring consistently high service is
delivered.
We are pleased to see the improvements delivered an improved
service and customer journey and look forward to expanding and
developing our relationship with Castore for the next few years.
Q: When will the music act for Big Summer Kick-Off be announced
/ Will there be another Hawaiian shirt on sale?
We are very excited to confirm there will be another
high-profile music act performing before the Harlequins v
Gloucester Gallagher Premiership match at Allianz Stadium on
10th May. Details of this act will be announced very shortly!
Tickets are selling fast for the event with supporters and
Members urged to secure their seats for another great
family-friendly day.
The Club has been delighted to see the popularity of the
limited-edition Hawaiian shirts and bucket hats and we are
pleased to confirm these will be returning for this season’s Big
Summer Kick-Off.
Q: Using the increased visibility of Women’s rugby with the
upcoming World Cup, what can supporters do to support the
Women’s game and help the programme break-even?
We have been delighted to see attendance numbers steadily
increase across the PWR league this season, and nearly 7,000
supporters attending our Friday Night Lights fixture against
Bristol Bears at The Stoop in February shows the growing
popularity. However, we are still only seeing less than 2% of
our Men’s Season Ticket Members attending Women’s fixtures
(which are included as part of their Membership). By supporters
encouraging friends and families to attend an affordable and
exciting day of rugby at The Stoop, we believe there is an
incredible opportunity to grow the Women’s game, especially in
the wake of the World Cup.
