his hard carrying is a different league.

Walker is as brave as a lion and in a team that lacks steel and
big carriers, you can understand why he's first choice. That
said, his decision making is suspect at times. He gives away a
lot of daft penalties, which is where, I suspect, most of the
frustration comes from. He's throwing is also inconsistent. He's
looked upon as an experienced first teamer, England fringe
       player, and is judged accordingly.
I think fans are kinder on Riley as he's come through the
academy and he isn't yet the finished article. He's got great
hands at the line and is dynamic in the loose, albeit a bit more
footwork compared to Walker's grunt. You could argue a bit of a
highlights player, but he shows flashes of real quality.

A few weeks ago the stats showed Walker as having a ridiculously
high success rate at the lineout, to be fair. And we know the
side lacks decent operators at the lineout when Lewies is
injured - only Lamb, Kenningham, and maybe Dombrandt are good
enough to be front line jumpers and only Lamb can call them
       really.
Riley has over 70 appearances for us, he's not some callow yoof
and his improvement is happening very slowly. I don't want to
write him off, I just think he's an obvious downgrade on Walker
and I'm surprised that RR overlooks the flaws as he's usually
pretty good at judging Quins players dispassionately!

I get the impression jibulu leaving is like Lynagh. Probably
would have stayed but we didn’t front up.
Poor judgement again, I’d have chosen him other either of our
hookers personally, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see when
Walkers deal expires we probably will have to spend more
       bringing big name in.

There's gotta be enough things for you to criticise the club for
       without inventing scenarios

Jibulu see also Tizard. Taking the ££££ with no patience for the
fact Quins brought them through and they weren’t worthy of a
       massive contract after 1 year
How many Quins who left for the £££ have done better since?

We should have pulled out all the stops to keep Jibilu as he
already looked the real deal and would only get better. I'd have
be happy to keep Riley as third choice and had Walker and Jibs
fighting it out to start. It is what it is, definitely an area
we need to prioritise for next season. What's happened to Musk
       and Head?

Based on Jibulu’s interviews, it feels like he wanted to leave
regardless of what was offered to him.
He has the potential to be a very good player but I’m never a
fan of players who simply want to chase the money.
If he doesn’t get capped while he’s at Sale, he’ll probably
start courting a move to France.

From the Sale press release it sounded like he'd always wanted
to move to Manchester and was going to spend the rest of his
       life there.

We mustn’t comment on that press release. Those that do are
being too sensitive apparently. Which feels like those people
saying that are being a little…well you know where I’m going
       with this.

The ones who criticised him for that release were just being
       childish.
