Joe Launchbury in action for Harlequins
Joe Launchbury will captain Harlequins as they travel to the
West Country to take on Bath in the Premiership Rugby Cup
Quarter-Final (Fri 28 Feb, 19:45 – live on TNT Sports).
Harlequins, who finished as fifth-seed of the eight
quarterfinalists, travel to The Rec to take on the fourth-seeded
Bath under the Friday Night Lights.
Danny Wilson has made eight changes to the side that ran out at
The Stoop two weeks ago in a narrow defeat to Saracens.
Jordan Els and Titi Lamositele have been named in the front row,
while Irne Herbst starts in the engine room alongside skipper
Joe Launchbury. Lucas Schmid packs down at No.8 in place of Alex
Dombrandt.
Jake Murray starts at scrum-half after his try-scoring
performance against Connacht last week. Cameron Anderson and
Rodrigo Isgro start on either wing, with Tyrone Green named at
full-back.
Meanwhile, Tom Lawday and Nick David return to the matchday 23
for the Cup clash, plus loanee Jonny Law is in line to make his
competitive debut for the Quarters.

Scarily strong bench for Bath ! Although we have a good side
out, it will be a tough 2nd half, I feel.

Their bench would all start ahead of any of our XV, think we’re
in trouble on this one. Delighted to be proven wrong but…..

Well, Bath are starting with a development/squad team at least -
our starting 15 should be quite a bit stronger overall. It all
depends on how they use the bench. Perhaps they watched us
against Saracens' kids.

Let's hope by the time their replacements get on, we will be too
far ahead to claw back [emoji14]

Considering how well it went with our first teamers against a
second string Sarries team, coupled by Bath's bench the wise
money will be on Bath.

Redpath, Offiah and De Glanville, some big names out there for
Bath. Who is or was better ? Dads or sons ?

I think Phil was under-rated, maybe because he replaced Guscott
when Guscott had a long term injury if memory serves - a tough
act to follow I thought he was a really good player. Not as good
as Guscott obviously but a very tidy player and tough too. No
way has his son caught up with him yet!
