Jonny Law - London Scottish
Harlequins can confirm scrum-half Jonny Law has joined on a
short-term loan from London Scottish.
The 24-year-old is in his second season with the Championship
outfit and joins with immediate effect following injuries to
three of Quins’ senior scrum-half options.
Law featured as a replacement for the Quarters in last week’s
24-19 victory over Connacht at The Stoop and has previous
experience with Jersey Reds and Leicester Tigers Academy.
Head Coach, Danny Wilson said: “Injuries to Danny Care, Lewis
Gjaltema and Lucas Friday have left us light in the scrum-half
position with only Will Porter and Jake Murray fit.
“It’s vital we have depth in an important position heading into
the knockout stages of the Premiership Cup and as we build
towards the return of the Gallagher Premiership.
“Jonny has performed consistently for London Scottish, and he’s
excited for the opportunity to represent Harlequins.”

I have watched him several times at RAG, playing for Scottish.
He won't let the side down.

Shame about the scrum half injuries - would have been nice for
Friday to get an opportunity but he's crocked as well !

Didn't know care and Friday are injured. Not ideal, hopefully
not too badly.
Good thing is this chap has trained with a lot of our squad
already.

Friday went off after about 20 minutes of the England U20 game
but sadly I joined after the event so I'm not sure what the
reason was?

Finally got around to having a look on BBC iPlayer, his right
knee was strapped and seemed to buckle when he went to step off
his right leg. He was clearly in some pain but walked (well
hobbled) off under his own steam so hopefully not too much
ligament damage. The commentators had been talking earlier about
the number of calories he was eating in order to bulk up
