With Chisholms injury looking quite bad at the time, I'm
guessing Lawday is being saved for the Prem/Europe now. Last
thing we need would be to lose him aswell

I suspect it's more seeing if Kerr has the physicality to play
12 at this level. He's said it's his preferred position, and
it's where he plays at U20 level, but he's pretty small for a
modern Prem IC.
It is a surprise that Bradley and Hyde - who featured a lot in
pre-season - seem to have been overtaken. Waghorn is smaller and
younger than either, and I think has mostly played 13, but
there's not been much to criticise in his performances so far.

I get the impression that the coaches believe Bradley and Hyde
aren't the answer going forward and Waghorn could be -not sure
he is smaller than both either although Kerr certainly is.......

Don't see it will be, expect a small gate, especially now it is

Really don’t understand the mentality behind this selection
We lost last Sat and have a quarter final next Friday, wouldn’t
the game time be beneficial
Still won’t be using my ST for this one

It’s a bizarre choice of oppo too considering they won’t bring
much away support. A Munster would have been a great choice, and
also looking back many years ago we’ve had the then Natal
Sharks, Manu Samoa etc. and yes I’m aware it’s who is available.
Very much smells of a fixture for the sake of it to appease the
ST holders, and certainly with the selection of squad.

Perhaps the number of injuries mean we are just fulfilling a
fixture rather than putting out the kind of team STHs would
prefer to see? Don’t see a huge problem with it as it will give
some young players a run out and suspect it’s a ‘goodbye’ match
for others.
