Team news: Quins name squad to face Connacht

Jack Musk in action for Harlequins
Jack Musk will captain Harlequins in Friday night’s friendly
fixture versus Connacht at The Stoop (19:45).
The hooker will pack down in the front row with Jordan Els and
Titi Lamositele at loose and tighthead respectively, while Jonny
Green and Harry Browne will lineup in the locks.
Zach Carr and Archie White are named on either flank, with Lucas
Schmid continuing his run of appearances at number eight.
Jake Murray starts at scrum-half to partner Jamie Benson, who’ll
wear the number 10 jersey
Sean Kerr and Lennox Anyanwu are the chosen midfield partnership
to take on the men from Galway as Hayden Hyde, Rodrigo Isgro and
Cameron Anderson are named in the back three.
Danny Wilson has named an extended bench (10) for Friday night’s
contest. Quins’ impact forwards include Jimmy Staples, Ethan
Clarke, Simon Kerrod, Mattias Woollard, Seb Driscoll and Will
Trenholm.
Backline replacements include Connor Slevin, Bryn Bradley, Roma
Zheng and London Scottish loanee scrum-half, Jonny Law.

Isgro!
Surprised he's in but good to get some minutes under the belts
of a few others. Titi post-knock, Benson at 10, Kerr at 12 will
be interesting to watch. No harm in giving Lennox a runout
either.

I'm guessing that Gjaltema is properly crocked if we are loaning

I suspect with the number of miles he has on the clock it's more
a question of managing his game time these days. He's the sort
of player who seems to be able to come onto the pitch without
game time and play well, but he's had a lot of wear and tear.
Quins seem to be prioritising developing Carr and Schmid this
season, which I think is sensible given their potential.

Wasn’t he skippering the Prem Cup team and played in the Prem
post-Chis’ injury?
Or am I missing something?

wonder what other well stocked fixtures we will get next year to
account for less games but higher ST prices.

At least whoever we're borrowing is a scrum half. Gjaltema
leaving the pitch was about his most positive contribution to
the game as normal.
(and no, I'm not celebrating his injury, I hope he gets better
soon, I'm saying he's utter garbage at rugby).

Correct and he was brilliant against Saints when Chis went off.
Don't think he played in the recent 2 Prem cup games unless I'm
mistaken so perhaps he's injured.
