Also, does the TV itself receive Freeview without the BT box? If
so, check there as well.

Ok so I have no aerial or dish, just the internet connection
through the BT box which is 4 years old. I have tried to
"retune" the bt box and scan for channels but it hasn't worked
yet.
Might have to re-hire my Techy Butler.
