I thought all the forwards were pretty decent today apart from
Dommers who is on a different level to everyone else. It seemed
the majority of errors came from the backs. I lost count how
many times we gave away possession or messed up when we were
attacking. We had 2 tries disallowed and a try nearly scored
where the ball was lost whilst trying to ground it, another day
and they would have been points on the board and Sarries would
have been going home in pieces. We looked a bit flat in the
second half and Sarries wanted it more than us. It was just a
bad day at the office. Hope the players can forget today and
take us past the quarter finals.

Where my point was that their team will be strengthened by the
return of more 1st team players than ours.

JEv’s Wales recall might end up being a blessing in disguise.
JEv might have a higher profile, but I genuinely don’t think
there is much (if any) drop off to Benson and I’d actually
prefer to give him the game time.
Shame to see Cleaves injured again. I think he would have caught
Elliott but for his hamstring going.

Jev didn't have a great game on Saturday and some of his long
passes were far too telegraphed but generally I think he's been
very good for us. His place kicking is a weakness but otherwise
he's a really decent back up

Aaaand that's why I pointed out the players most likely to play
in both matches were excellent for us!
Now that's the repeat of the conversation done and dusted,
hopefully what I was saying makes sense now? :-)
