I don't know how to do that archive link thing. But Telegraph
reporting we've signed Argentina forward Guido Petti from
       Bordeaux.

For those that can't access the article:
Harlequins have bolstered their forward ranks next season by
signing Argentina international Guido Petti from Union
       Bordeaux-Bègles on a three-year contract.
Petti, who has 87 caps for Los Pumas, arrived on the French west
coast in 2020 having begun his professional career with the
now-defunct Jaguares, the Super Rugby franchise, in Argentina,
but will be a Harlequins player from the beginning of next
       season.
The 30-year-old is primarily a second row but has appeared at
both blindside and openside for Bordeaux during a five-year
stint, with his versatility across the back five of the scrum
       adding to his value.
Bordeaux currently sit atop the French Top 14 – having lost to
Toulouse in last season’s grand final – and the capturing of
       Petti’s signature from a big-spending, high-flying French club
marks a major coup for both Harlequins and the Premiership as a
       whole.
Irné Herbst, the South African lock who joined Quins in 2022, is
understood to be teaming up with Courtney Lawes in Brive next
season – who currently compete in the second tier of French
rugby – with Petti coming in as somewhat of a replacement.
Kieran Treadwell, the Ulster second row with 11 caps for Ireland
who began his career with Harlequins, is also returning to
       south-west London.
Stephan Lewies, Joe Launchbury, George Hammond and Dino Lamb
comprise the rest of Harlequins’ second-row options but the
latter has been linked with a move to Perpignan in the French
       Top 14.
Petti featured in both of Argentina’s defeats against England at
last year’s World Cup – once as a replacement and once starting
       – and started their first-ever victory over New Zealand in 2020.
When Argentina defeated the All Blacks once again in 2022, Petti
came off the bench. The 30-year-old is a veteran of three World
       Cups.

Does kinda maybe possibly sound like Treadwell was replacing
Dino and this guy is the new Irne

That’s us not getting Kpoku then.
I’m sure he will do well at Bath

I'm sure I saw talk that Kpoku isn't avail until next summer
unless a club finds something like £500k(?) down the back of
their sofa just to buy him out of this last year of his
contract... so maybe we're getting our second row stable
       reorganised this post-season and next.
You could just as easily conclude that both Launchbury and
Lewies are being kept hanging on for one more season and will
then make way to free up the funds for us to bring him in next
       summer.

Versatile, experienced but still younger than some of our other
       options. Looks a good signing.
Saw we were linked with the Toulon 12 Duncan Paia'aua which
would be good as I think it is an area of weakness still. Really
impressed with Waghorn thus far and we know Northmore can do a
job there but it's not his natural position and with Joseph on
the way out we'll need him focused on vying for the outside spot
       with Beard.
Still think we need a prop and maybe a FB/Wing to replace
       Halfpenny and sit above Anderson.

maybe the Argentine connection via Isgro will bring a few Argies
       in [emoji106]

I hope this is the case and that the lure of Bath/Sarries holds
       off
