Yeah, essentially the club know they have the fans by the
strings. You either accept a hike, but that’s ok if you don’t
want to..but the chances of then being able to get a seat in the
“lower” tier will be much harder, and if you don’t have cash in
the hip then it will sadly see a lot of loyal fans, many who’s
name probably is on the loyalty wall, priced out.

just got my letter, not a lot of choice for us really so we'll
end up paying for it, my biggest issue is now two games over the
road where I have never managed to get an equivalent view to my
stoop seats and end up sitting on or closer to the 22 instead of
the middle and where others are offered the same seats at a
substantially lower price to my so called season ticket.

Not all seats in FF are being reclassified, ours are already
gold but a few seats forward and away from tunnel you can pay
less for basically the same view. Well at least until now.
It would appear that previous price increases have not lowered
demand for season tickets and games are still selling out. The
club would be mad to not try and capitalise on this particuarly
if not profitiable. I'm sure if people in these reclassified
seats don't renew there are plenty on the season ticket waiting
list who will take them.
I also do the math and given we occasionally miss a game, it
would be cheaper to buy tickets for each home game rather than a
ST. But we like our seats and buying tickets for each game would
be a faff.

Got our letters, too. One detail I hadn't appreciated is that
the club already seems to be selling these seats as Gold when
they are soled individually, so the effective season ticket
discount is probably higher than for other categories if they
leave them at Premier.

It wouldn't surprise me, but I don't know for sure, that new
season tickets in these areas may also have been gold for a
while

I get it that costs have increased dramatically across all
aspects of life, except pay, so sooner or later you get to a
tipping point where the CBA just doesn’t work anymore and it’s
pure desire to continue to support Quin’s as I’ve done for
in-excess of 45 years, and with a ST with the wife for going on
30.
The reduction of Stoop home games over the past few years I.e.
fewer Premiership, fewer European, no A league makes the ST way
more expensive per game, OK you do get 2 x Big Stoop games, and
the Ladies, BUT my ST is for a specific Stoop seat which I now
get to use 12 times a year so value has in my opinion decreased.
Of course I want the club to succeed and be profitable but
unfortunately it may have to do it without us in the near future
as disposable income decreases as retirement takes hold.
One other thing, if the club does expand the stadium, which I
think it will have to do, it’s not going to be a quick thing so
what would happen during the building phase? I guess smaller
crowds, with H&S limiting access to certain areas, playing games
at a nearby alternative location, Brentford? Or even build on
the Stoop, as they did with the flats behind the east stand, and
use the proceeds to build a new stadium somewhere local…….

Could they not just increase the north stand. It’s bolt together
construction like the south.

Ideally the club would want to expand either the East or West.
More premium seats and hospitality earning potential vs
extending the ends. This is what the Stoop Mk2 was supposed to
solve but Covid nixed it. Though it’s difficult to expand any of
the stands really.

Premier and gold get access to the members bar so that won’t
change - unless seats around me get upgraded to premium.
