I hope Eddie is around to see it happen - sounds like he is
pretty ill :-(

As with Wasps, what is different from before that will make it
close to being sustainable? The main issue is that there
probably isn’t enough room/interest from 3 pro rugby clubs in
the London area.

Get rid of Sarries and then there’s room.

All he has bought is the rights to the name and badge,
presumably licensed from the actual club.
He has not bought Hazelwood - so we still do not know who will
acquire that, or if the club will need to move.
The companies - London Irish Scottish Richmond Ltd and London
Irish Holdings Ltd - are still in administration.
And there is no talk of all the rugby creditors being paid.
Something the RFU is keen on, and apparently still a sticking
point in the negotiations re Worcester.
Any new entity would also still need a stadium, training ground,
staff, coaches, players, etc.
So a long way to go and still many a slip

Suggestion is that they will look at entering the URC, not
premiership.

Will still need the sanction of the RFU to play in the URC in
England.

They say they want the fans at the centre but then talk about
playing in URC

True. It might make the stadium rules easier though.

Connacht, Dragons the Italians and Scots all play in stadia
under 10,000 capacity.
So that cannot be a requirement.
Which does open up a wider range of grounds in London.
Perhaps they could play at Ealing.
Though, I do not think there is room for two sides to train
there.
